How do I connect my life to performance? 

the importance of my actions and reflections are projected in my work I do
what I do with my hands and my mind, my heart. they weave and transform;
or
a needle,
a wire,
a cotton flake.

my relations with the other,
my respect for the ancestors,
my son.

woman,
mother,
wife,
daughter,
children of the places I dwell.

I am in a quest to be consistent,
I daily life,
I work.

I seek to be coherent with my life and the art I do. I  I have asked some people who have seen my work and  know me , here are  some answer:

Vicky, I have seen some of your past performance and i feel it is a reflection of your current state of being. Sometimes the performance is not about you, but a reflection of how you perceive current situations. Whatever it is, you always give a part of yourself to your audience..and that’s how you are even in real life .

First time I saw your visuals Vicky and It’s obvious that all your inspirations are mostly coming from people you love and the positiveness that you want people to embrace because of your experiences . I felt that you want to spread awareness about acceptance and unity. You want to connect through love. Mostly it’s a direct reflection of you . You’re the Art.

Now-days as an artist I feel the urgency to show hope.
